Update: Occupations and Obligations

I'll try and make this short and sweet. No pictures I've grabbed off the internet, no tiny captions; just a nice, frank update.

Those in my personal circle will know that I recently came into employment at my city's local WalMart, and as of this writing, I'm almost into my first fully-scheduled work week. I'm working as a cart pusher there, and before you start, I'd like you to know that it's more difficult in execution than in concept. While the advent of motorized pushers make the job a great deal easier, especially with a partner, it's still exhausting work due to the surprising amount of upper and lower-body strength needed to keep those carts moving in such a way as to avoid collisions.

All this, plus the fact I've been working afternoon shifts of late, has all but eaten up my time to write. Well, that, and my horrible ability to properly set aside time for shit I keep telling myself is important. Either way, I have less time than I usually do to write, and this chapter's well over 8000 words. When I can find and/or make the time to write, I will try my best. For now, though, I just wanted you guys to know what the situation was.
