[To All] General (Progress) Updates + Next Week Shenanigans · 7:26am Dec 4th, 2015
Hi all,
Beautiful quarter system of university dictates that finals are upon me next week. As a result, I'll be lurking, but VERY quiet in terms of activity. So, with that said, I'll give you all a general idea of what's going on with all the stories you follow, since I won't be updating any time from now until next weekend. (NOTE: This does not include commissioned work.)
Metroid Equis 2: Duality.
I was HOPING to have Section 6 done before I signed off for finals, but alas, I need at least another 3000 words to make it complete, which will put everything around the wordcount of last chapter... so approximately 9000 words or so. It may hit ten, but we'll see about that. Again, I apologize this story has been a bit neglected. As I said before, you are NEXT in line for the update.
My Best Friend, Luna.
General outline is complete and once Duality is updated, this will take up my personal time. There's two chapters left so there's incentive for me to plow through it all. Nothing really new to report here.
Hardly Working [Applejack oneshot]
Drafting has already begun, but has been stalled due to the aforementioned stories needing updates and life in general. It will be complete in due time.

Preliminary base work has begun. Formal outlining will begin upon completion of My Best Friend, Luna.
Ace Combat: Fractured Harmony.
'Mission 1' is being drafted on my free time. Will not be released until I have a large backlog, which won't be for a long while.
Hearths Warming for a Hunter.
Oneshot crossover with Samus, loosely based on Metroid Equis series but in no way assumes any knowledge. A holiday special for our favorite, bad-ass heroine.
Unnamed Stella Fic.
Brainstorming.

Why was Equestrian Politics cancelled? It, and it's prequel Lighten Up, are what got me to read your works. I couldn't find any post saying why it was cancelled, but I may have missed it.
3591549 LONG ago, actually. It meandered way too far off course from where I had intended it to be. EP has not even conformed to the image I set for it those years ago and it was too far gone for me to correct mistakes mid-story and get it back on track. As a result, it had to be shot in the back of the head.
I do plan a rewrite for Lighten Up eventually though, to bring it up to my current level of writing. I've got the story profile ready but I just need the extra time.

I can understand that. Eventually, I'll rewrite my first fanfic, but the motivation to do so is missing so far.
