Yeah. We in the home stretch, and this chapter is going to have a lot of content. Especially because it has the one thing this story has been lacking in the romance department...
THE CONFLICT.
I'm honestly embarrassed to see that I've missed this aspect of a romance. Especially so because Applebuck Season would have been the perfect place to have a conflict to predate this one. Alas I messed up and missed a good opportunity for it there, but what's done is done and I already am working out what the conflict to end this all together will be. Romantically wise. Physically, I'm pretty sure you guys all know whats coming.
So yeah the conflict in this chapter, is something that pained me to write. And I mean that in the most metaphorical way possible. To put this into perspective, I'm SUPER empathetic, and normally when I watch a show and something embarrassing happens to a character I'm rooting for or have no real problem with, I have to turn away so I can preserve their shame for them as if they're there in front of me.
Now imagine this, and actually writing it. The emotional highs in negativity kind of make me sad and sick sometimes. Not literally, but spiritually, so I did something for the first time ever.
I started writing that specific scene first, so I won't have to come and write it after I do the build-up. BAsically I'm getting the climax of negativity out of the way, so the build up of negativity, to me, amounts to a drop since I'll have already written it and the sort of padding towards union of the two again.
