This was an idea that I had while trying, and failing, to finish the most recent Finale chapters of This Changeling Life.
The story is okay, I feel like I wrote the characters well enough for a read, but that finale is kicking me in the teeth. And I’ve already identified the reason.
I wrote in way too many freaking characters for a story of its size. Honestly.
Another set of mistakes I made, which is not anyone’s fault but my own is that I took a little snippet idea and made it way too large.
The whole Spike is basically an Emiya Shirou Expy (in powers, technically, only), the length of my chapters, and the amount of Changeling Queens I brought into the fold.
Put simply, I should have at most had two Queens brought into Canterlot, Spike should have simply been a swordsman with a single sword to his name, and the chapters, I feel, should have been 10k words at the MOST so update weren't so bulky.
So, to the frustration of myself and definitely most of my readers, I’m putting TCL on hiatus. I’ve just not been able to bring myself to finish writing the finale bout.
Mind you, I DID write some stuff for the chapter. Which I’ll post just so you guys don’t think I’m lying.
Though I do have a new story idea I'm working the kinks out of.
A Naruto/RWBY fic with Obito as the main character. I'm planning on using this experience to help bolster my new story.
So is this why you haven’t shared the chapter with me over Google Drive?

My Finals went well, and Football was a fun experience.
I'll start it sometime tomorrow and hopefully finish it before Christmas, but I can't be sure. I'll PM you when I'm done with the edits.

Well, good to know I guess. Though I do hope you find a way and will to finish the story sometime.
I really enjoyed reading it and was very disappointed that it ended on a cliffhanger.
