The reason I write is because I want to read a story written for myself. One day, I want to read one of my own stories and say to myself "That is the best story I have ever read."
So to start off, I wish a heartfelt and sincere Merry Christmas to everybody, or Happy Holidays for those who do not celebrate.
Of course, I know that the feeling of needing to be happy at this time is quite taxing. I see it a lot in my day job doing social work. To those, I do wish that at least your hardships be soothed for a short period of time.
So I'm still around, still reading, still writing A Fractured Song. I'm actually still reading fimfiction on occasion. Rego's Elector Swing mainly.
So I know a few people have read the book aloud but this is probably got the furthest and one of the best made.
Unfortunately, it's not complete but Straight to the point has a pretty good voice when reading it! I hope you all enjoy

I've been working nonstop rewriting the first three chapters and prologue of the story and i'm satisified to say that while there are a few changes you readers should look over, nothing major.

Ok, enough of that. Anyway, I really am enjoying your story. It has captivated me with a world that seems to actually fit the MLP:FiM universe (something oddly lacking among most fanfics) and also with a cast of characters that feels alive. Excellent work and I can't wait to see what's coming next!

A STICKLER FOR CANON
That's partly why i hate many shipping fics because many of them have NO BASIS AT ALL as to why the two particular characters get together. Ones that do, i like. That's why i also tolerate rarispike fics because although the romance is somewhat comedic, there's a canon basis.
The characters I have created are some of the most diverse I have made. I spent hours just figuring out flaws, their strengths, backstory and tags for the audience to recognize. I'm quite happy with them. I probably shall produce a bonus chapter explaining on how I created my characters (don't worry their won't be spoilers)... maybe after the gathering chapters.
Another chapter shall be released soon. And if you didn't re-read at least the 1st chapter (not prologue) and the 2nd chapter (White Tower and Barbican and Golden Triangle) please do.
