    New Story Up!

I'm still writing here, apparently! Go me!

    Econfluence / / cousinry
Spitfire and Sunburst are cousins. They're an unlikely pair, but they make do with what they have.

    some cover arts

Hi there! Been hellishly busy lately, especially now that everything's returning to some variation of normal.

Did a fair bit of ponywords in spite of that, both new and old. Though I haven't really been keeping you guys up to date on the deetz since... Christmas, looks like. Time to rectify that.

    Merry Christmas!

I had been busy prepping something thematic for the occasion but alas, I couldn't finish in time.

    So have another story instead!

    a quick September / October check-in

First off, not dead! That's a start!

Second off, got vaxxed, which may or may not have played a part in the whole not being dead thing. Aftermath of the first jab was hell. Second one apparently was too, according to my upper arm. Otherwise, all's good!

So, you're supposed to press this button! I get it now!

Yes. That's how you get a comment inside, Pinkie. See that white box?

Duh!

No. The one on the screen.

Oh~.....You mean THAT white box.

Wait for a minute... Hey guys!
As you might know, I'm working on Laurels and that new story I mentioned. If you have no idea what story it is you can ask Pinkie here to warp you back to the previous blog post.

So anyways, Chapter 34 is standing at 800+ words, with the title mentioned above:

.... and of course, I'll be adding the Second Voyager somewhere in the next few chapters. It's just-

...Pinkie?

Yeeeeeeaah?

What are you doing?

Typing! I think... is this how people type? Cause that's some weird-weirdippy weirdo words all over the white box!

Pinkie, it's your hoof.

My what?

Hoof, Pinkie. You're smashing the keyboard with your hoof.

Of course I am! The keys are so small! So when I type 'yes', it goes rzxc7#tg52refa&). See?!

Okay.... so I'm uploading Pinkie's picture with a ponytail I took earlier this morning-
Really?! YOU CAN DO THAT? What else can you do with this? Can it bake something?!

Pinkie, it's a computer, not an oven.

Then what else can it do? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? HUH????

I'll show you in a bit. OK, there ya go:

This is a damn long blog post. Anyways, back to the real deal.
Here's a small, teensy weensy snippet of Chapter 34

Fenderville wasn't the type of town used to murder. Twilight found this out the hard way.

She was in the lobby of the hotel, her hooves massaging her temple from stress as teams of police-ponies swarmed into the dining room, ushering many of the guests out whilst cleaning and vacuuming them free of red snow.
The press was already crowding outside, all murmuring between each other whilst waiting for the emergence of Tourist Trap or his wife. Some of the police officers lined up around the hotel, forming a sort of barricade around the building, sealing off every possible entrance and exit.

Penny Royal sat across her, completely flustered with everything happening around her. Her face turned a dark green, still revolted by the severed body jammed into the conveyor belt.
She shuddered violently, the cup of tea in her hoof shaking along, spilling a few drops onto the carpeted floor. With every small slurp, the mare seemed to calm down, warmth spreading through her body before making way for her nervous tremble again.

"Can't believe this," she muttered to herself, "just can't believe this."

"Miss Sparkle!"

Twilight turned towards the kitchen, spotting Tourist Trap amidst the crowd. He was beckoning her to follow, before disappearing into the dining hall.
She excused herself, quickly trotting past the double doors.

Tourist was standing there, along with a group officers. They seemed to be waiting for her arrival, watching her way as the unicorn approached them.

One of the officers spoke up:
"Mr. Trap here said you were the one who discovered the body?"

Twilight nodded, still slightly fuddled as the police recorded a few notes down.
"Wait," she turned to the bothered hotel owner, "what's going on?"

There we go!

Hey! I thought I was in your story!

You are! I just didn't finish typing it out yet...
...
and she went off to get cake. Again.
Third time to Secret Recipe's. Seriously, the people are going to freak out over there.

But anywhere, here's a song. A song.

[youtube=g8PrTzLaLHc]

Just enjoy listening to it while I continue... typing everything out.
No better words for typing everything out...

...

Put my thoughts onto the keyboard?
