I feel like I’ve asked this before (for ONAS fans) · 6:28am Oct 27th, 2015
Alright, so I think I might have asked this question before, but the answer may change now from the time when I asked it.
So as you all may recall, when I wrote the last chapter of ONAS, A Change in Location (it feels so long ago now…), it was before the most recent episode, “Hearthbreakers,” and we hadn’t seen the rest of the Pie family yet, so I stuck to my own fanon depiction of them.
Now that the episode is out, however, the Pie family has been shown to be at least somewhat different from how I depicted them, so should I go back and change my depiction of them in chapter 17 and stick to that in the upcoming chapter 18, or should I stick to my own fanon depiction of the family?
Please note that if I were to change it, it will take a longer time than if I simply stuck to my own depiction of them.

I'd say stick to what you've already got.
Stick with what you have. I see no reason to jump up and alter a story just because it does not match what a group of writers came up with.
Stick with it and if you're really feeling bad about changes from canon then slap an alternate universe tag on there. The depiction of the Pie family wasn't in the show at the start of your story though so from that point there wasn't a deviation from canon and I wouldn't think an alternate universe tag would even be necessary. If it makes you feel better about it though, put the tag on there.
I would say that you should keep what you wrote. Worst case scenario, slap an Alternate Universe tag there
Stick to your guns, man. No one knew how Limestone or Marble would be depicted on the show, and you're doing well so far.

Thanks for the feedback! This makes me feel a lot better and more confident continuing on with the next chapter and not sticking to their canon depictions.

Have yet to catch up on some of your chapters (and watch Hearthbreakers), but I'd stay stick to your plan.
