Hello.
You may or may not know me. My name is TheHappySpaceman. I am a musician, artist, content creator, and a longtime friend of Kirb's. He and I have been close friends since grade school, and I have collaborated with him on a few things here. I helped him with some of his reviews, and I proofread every chapter of his My Little Pony/Gargoyles crossover fanfiction Of Night and Stone.
About two years ago, Kirb became less and less active, both here, on deviantART, Skype, and even email. I don't know what prompted this, and Kirb's other friends also seem to be out of the loop. Last he and I communicated, he had been getting harassed on Tumblr by anonymous trolls who were upset at him for his reviews. He was also not doing well in Canada, and he and his girlfriend Dana had been having some issues.
Then... he just vanished. Essentially became a complete recluse.
I've tried sending emails to him, I've checked in on Skype to see if he would come back online, but no such luck.
Today, I went onto FIMFiction to read some of his fanfics for nostalgia's sake, and I discovered something intriguing: My computer recognized his username and password. Since he and I were friends years back, he likely used my old computer once or twice to sign in on FIMFiction to check for messages and stuff, and when I added my passwords to the Firefox Cloud, that one must have transferred over here.
I don't want to snoop in his account or anything, since I know that a lot of people liked him and a lot of people also hated him, but I just wanted to give an update about his whereabouts for anyone who may still be concerned. He may come back or he may not, I don't know at this point.
As well, if anyone wants to talk with me about him, I have also created my own account.

I've hoped so too, but it's been so long that I don't know if he will be back.
Oh, man. I hope that he's alright. I knew that something was off when he went quiet, but I didn't knew that it was this bad. :c

Yeah. It's been rough on me, too, as his IRL friend. I'd like to believe that he has restarted under a different screen name, but that doesn't explain why he's also stopped communication with me.
