Despite my writing, I'm not too good with my words when it comes to talking about real problems, except when it flows naturally. As such, since nothing seems to be coming now, I'm just going to post a relative link.
A lot of people - both on this site and on the other sites I post stories to - have asked where I get the ideas for my stories from, especially the crossovers...because the ideas seem so odd yet work so well when I write them. After a weird dream I had this morning, I think I can demonstrate just how odd it would be to try to explain it...so I thought I'd summarize it here to the best of my
There's this one story I really liked that I went to look for recently that didn't turn up in the search, and I was hoping someone could either help me find it or tell me what happened.
The story was called "Render Unto Twilight", and according to its TvTropes page, it was written by user McCoda...who I also can't find.
A while back when RPs were outlawed here on fimfiction, a lot of my friends from the RP group I belonged to moved to an MLP focused RP site called Whitetail Woods. Some of my closest friends have been there ever since, but recently the site went down for Maintenance and hasn't been up since. Does anyone know anything about what happened? If you do, please let me know, or if you can see what
I really had no idea what was going on with Cici's story. I'm guessing it's not part of Mega Man X lore, but it part of another property? Will it tie into the other stories somehow?
3492166 It's not part of MMX lore. It's actually Cthonic lore (thus why CiCi is short for "Cyber Cthulu").
Mostly, there are several Mavericks throughout the X games whose origins are mysterious and unknown, with abilities and fighting styles that are somewhat unusual. If "Yes" wins out on the poll, I'll be using CiCi's story to explain those further.
But to explain this chapter, Cthuko and Nyaruko - the Eldritch spirits inside CiCi and Morph Moth respectively - are the daughters of Elder Gods. Cthulhu and Nyarlathotep respectively. And the advancement of Reploid technology has become a point of concern for the Elder Gods as - unlike humans - Reploids are worth notice.
CiCi's story is basically the Elder Gods sending their children to try and influence world events one way or another to get their way regarding the future of Earth and the Elder Gods without accidentally destroying the fabric of reality.
3492372 I mean that CiCi's story will become more interwoven with the overarching plot of the X games, as she keeps her actions in secret more or less.
So more chapters like this last one, and possibly more characters who stick around with Cthulic/Cthonic origins.

Uhh......if you mean to add even 'more' cryptic chapters.....heck yea!
I think?

3492386 I'm cool with that
I voted that I don't care, while I think it detracts from the overall story slightly, I still find them a good read.
3492659 I voted no, myself, but you make an excellent point.
