Ponyess

I just recently started to write stories directly towards the FiM actively, though I have been writing for years, publishing numerous stories at Mibba and the eventual pony story, as far as to the MLP

Anthropomorphic: 152 (Definition, Explanation and Rant Included) · 3:29pm Oct 16th, 2015

Anthropomorphic requires that the character is walking upright in a Human like fashion and i inteligent enough to act like one.
By the same standards, it also requires that there is enough of (in this case) the Pony.

There is little to no other requirements on the characterin question.

For these reasons, I can make the character into anything looking like a Pony, while still having her walking upright.

Of course hands are convenient for more practical every day reasons.

Looking closer at the situation, if a characteristic is the same, it needs not be mentioned.
Of course, wings and horns are translated flawlessly into an Anthro.
Ears, muzzle and tail doesn't change anything, but would look good and ground said character as a Pony for the sake of continuity.
Hands would be a matter of choice, taking that wich is more fun and conveninet in a specific story.

In other words a pony keldarin

3476925 A Keldarian?
Sorry, I haven't heard of these.

A keldarin is a being that is a humanoid animal with charicteristics of the animal

3477445 Sounds as if it is more or less another word for an Anthropomorphif animal and in this case a Pony? Or is the later just a loser term for what I had in mind?

3488721 keldarin is the species, and there are different races, we are an equine anthro

3489086 Wait, so Keldarin is the Species name and the Equine is a sub speacies or race?
Maybe the village should be named Keldarinville if I write a story about them?

There are a fewfree options on the Keldarin as far as I can see, but while in the upright stanch, handsof some kind feels obvious. The difference is in the exact nature of said hands. The exact options would vary depending on which rase we are talking about.

If you don't have Ponies, but Cow/Deer, or Diamond Dogs, these hands would be different from the once ofour Equines.

From the idea I am going with, this is not a Chimera of freely available mish-maches, but a fairly clearly defined apperance and functionality. Clearly with the generally Equine mentality of FiM for this case we are looking at here.
