Study of a Winning Pony Chapter 27 off to Prereaders · 2:57am Oct 11th, 2015
Good new, I'm now firmly back in the writing saddle. I've finished writing Chapter 27 of Study, and I've sent it off to my prereaders to go over so that it's in good shape for everyone else to read. I realize the last chapter was a bit short, but that was because I knew that this chapter was going to be on the longer side of things, and I don't like my chapters to go over 15k words considering that becomes hard to read in a single sitting for most readers. I generally prefer to keep chapters in the 7-15k word range. Long enough to be satisfying, but not too long to be to read during a reading period.
I'm now starting up work on the second chapter of a comedy short story I'm working on, and I'm waiting for the cover art I've commissioned to be finished so that I can put the first chapter into the editing process to be posted. I have the last chapter of Midnight Begins finished, and that will most likely be the next thing I put into the editing process after this chapter of Study. So things are moving along very well now.
Also, boy was today's episode great?
