    What a way to end the series. From a story-crafting standpoint, I have some complaints about how the final two-parter got rolling, and the resolution isn't how I'd have handled it.

    Storm-chased complete and changed

    I put up the last chapter of Order-naries: Storm-chased a couple days ago. After looking at it, though, I found myself dissatisfied with the last couple paragraphs, so I've gone back and replaced them with a new, better-paced scene. One that I think works better for Ash and Rarity meeting the dust has mostly settled.

New Episode Spoiler (Crusaders of the Lost Mark)

I don't know why I still get disgruntled when show canon moves away from my own fanon, since the first major departure was back in Season 2, but the cutie marks the CMC got this week absolutely will not jive with how I'm portraying the CMC in "A Pony's Heart." It's not that the marks and associated "talent" are far removed from my own guesses - since there was no reasonable chance I'd guess them right - but the fact that all three got their marks at the same time. In A Pony's Heart, Scootaloo doesn't have her mark yet. Important things hinge on that fact.

On the other hand, Diamond Tiara's attitude adjustment makes future ideas less complicated for me.
Assuming I ever get to those ideas.
