I promised I'd focus on Pumahara after I finished Storm-chased, and I honestly have tried to get the next chapter done, but my silly, silly brain just can't leave the Order-naries 'verse slot on my WIP list empty for very long.
Season 9's premier episode prompted an idea that I can't shake off, but one that I can't in good conscious pursue without establishing a little more groundwork first. So, I've rolled back to Season 8 and done what I've tried to avoid up until now (or until Storm-chased, I suppose): involve my characters directly in canon events and write a fic about it.
Thus, Ashen Blaze is now a teacher at Twilight's School of Friendship. I call it... Ash vs. Equestria: School Blaze.
I originally wanted to subtitle it "School Daze" until I realized that "Ashen Blaze" rhymes with "Daze" and "Raze", so I got a bit of a pun and avoided just copying an episode title.
Won't here me complaining. You're Order-narie fics have always been among my favorite and most inspirational fanworks. Although I hate to admit, but I think I lost track of them for a while now. I totally missed that you did one to tie in with the MLP movie... then again, I haven't actually seen the movie yet either, so I guess I've fallen behind on more than just fanfiction.
Anyway, no time like the present to fix that and start catching up.
