Crusaders of the Lost Mark (Not What I Expected) MAJOR SPOILERS! · 4:21pm Oct 10th, 2015
I watched the most recent episode of MLPFIM staring our favorite three fillies the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
For the most part it started how I'd expect anything involving them except this time there was a huge school election going on. The major players were Pipsqueak and Diamond Tiara. Along the way she loses her friend Silver Spoon for being mean to her and eventually loses the election.
After losing the election it's revealed Diamond Tiara is actually not that bad of a pony but it was her mother who was the reason she was the way she was. After which the CMCs try to help her to see the error of her ways which leads to her rebelling against her mother and becoming, friend with the CMCs helping her realize what her special talent really means. After this its revealed that the CMCs special talents all coincide with them helping others discover their "True" talents.

Overall it was not what I expected. Diamond reforming was one thing, and I liked it, I wish Silver Spoon had a bigger part in it, but the CMCs getting their cutie marks on top of all this? It was a lot to take in. I felt good after watching this episode, I admit when I saw it I was like, "The CMCs agaaaaiin? AHU! Why?"
After I felt like, "OMG! The CMCs are awesome!"
It actually ended up better than I expected. I ended up loving this episode. But I now hat eDTs mother. Makes me wonder what Silver Spoons parent are like?
My personal verdict, 9/10 for the episode. Best CMC episode ever!

Well, I thought it was one of the better episodes. I still liked the them trying out for the flag carrying episode better but, this was quite good. Honestly, the CMC episodes never bothered me and this one was quite good too. I will also say that if they do this right, Diamond Tiara's redemption as it were won't be just a one episode thing.
If they do it right it will be a step by step thing in that, she's going to relapse a bit but learn something along the way about what it is to be a good friend. Lasting change isn't typically an overnight thing. It would be good to examine this.
3458805 I just wonder what was with DTs mother, what a bitch. She was even calling the CMCs blank flanks. It's nice to know it wasn't really DT who was doing it as much as trying to win her mothers approval.
I also hope Silver gets a spotlight episode.
I adore the metallic grey filly.
This episode was pure gold in so many ways.
We should make a list of all the awesome things in that episode.
