(Not My) Home Sweet Home -- Unmotivated Sequel · 9:39pm Oct 5th, 2015

Just submitted the first part of "(Not My) Home Sweet Home" for the site to approve. It's a five-part, semi-sequel to "Sombra the Highly Unmotivated" that will be released one part a day over the next five days.

No Sombra or Steve in this story. Rather, Discord and Twilight on the night of her birthday, when Discord takes her to a nice restaurant in hopes of warming her up to a new life on Earth. Sadly, things don't go completely as planned, as a drunken human named Arthur Mitchell makes his hatred of ponies loudly clear... well within earshot of Discord. Discord, obviously, does not take this very well.

I included a short prologue before the first chapter in the form of a book review on "Lazy Sombra", the book Steve from "Unmotivated" writes about his adventure with Sombra on alternate Equestria. Hopefully, it gives new readers a little knowledge before diving in and gives old readers some facts about what happened after "Unmotivated" ended.

I'll not going to lie. Both my editor and I agreed this is a very weird story. Then again, if you've read any of my stuff, you should know what to expect from me. Attempts at comedy, sad moments, romantic moments, weird moments, bizarre side characters, and that one chapter that's a little too dark for its own good. (I'll warn you now, it's chapter four.) Also, lots of swearing by a certain angry human character.

It's around 25k in total, so it'll be the length of a novella or so. Just thought I'd let you all know what I've been working on the last three weeks or so.
