Just finished Watching Friendship Games · 1:43am Sep 27th, 2015
May be spoilers below.
Wow. So much good stuff to talk about... but... a few, a lot of headcanon ideas confirmed, strengthened, or otherwise from The Last Vacation. I... kinda feel good about writing that story when I did. It's set up, in the same way, the same kind of world the actual EQG movies did.
Some differences... a lot of differences... but man... so much headcanon and writing... Mostly the little things. The things that I love. Twilight's personality, her loneliness, always searching for something... wow. The denial of magic. The school board being a thing. Luna being in charge of publicity...
I'm gonna go gibber uncontrollably for a while and giggle. There will be giggling involved. Lots of it.

can I just say that that last scene with Twilight and Sunset has da ja vu written all over it. Ya know with Celestia and Luna. Also That last little scene with Twilight, well hay I was wondering if that might happen eventually also "I was trapped in a time loop" Right...that would be the last episode of the season showing itself right there, less you also count that time loop fic MLP Time Loop Files.
Expecting a whole new wave of EQG fanfics now with all this new material to work with. Bright days ahead for fimfiction.

Sunset had a lot farther to travel to get to Friendship than Twilight. Twilight started at rest, in neutrality towards Friendship. Sunset was actively antagonistic towards Friendship. Her momentum was a much more drastic change.
