good episode: forget it wind rider, it's just chineightown

LA Noire is the most boring game ever, tho, so this is not a representative picture

So this episode was a HUGE improvement over the last one. Tons of chuckles throughout, with some solidly written character interactions, a ton of great visuals, and some excellent headcanon fodder. For instance, there's this handsome motherfucker.

Bear with me, I couldn't find any vectors of him, and that's fucking bullshit because he is the wolfiest handsome wolf this series has given us yet, and his super-interesting design deserves a vector

This is my headcanon and until it is defied you can't stop me from thinking it. But that's besides the overall point; this episode was some fantastic stuff. It's great to see Rarity and Rainbow Dash interacting with one another, too, as to me, they seem to be the weak link pair in the main six who as of yet haven't had a whole lot of apparent chemistry. Seeing them together in an episode, and seeing them work together in an episode, was just fantastic.

Also, Rarity had some glorious outfits this episode. Little girls will be buying them in bulk I swear.

Also also, Rainbow Dash was goddamn precious in this episode. And the Royal Gaurds were a sexy, adorkable baritone. Overall, it was a solid episode and I enjoyed it.

Yeah, it was a good episode. One of my favorite parts was the relationship between Spitfire and her mother. She'd go to the ends of Equestria and risk her life to help her, which is something I found so heartwarming. The Wonderbolts were handled in a fair, understandable manner, which I appreciated.

But Rarity was definitely the star of the episode. She was great from start to finish.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it.

Every time I see an episode with the Wonderbolts in it, I'm just hoping for something to bolster SoarFire pairing. Well, unfortunately this episode didn't have much of that, but neither did it have anything to support the goddamn omnipresent SoarDash ship, which is good IMO.

Overall, very entertaining episode. The ending was quite a cliché, but I shouldn't expect anything very complex or original from this show anyway.
