Right off the bat, I'd like to ease any concerns about me not having material for the story or if the plot line isn't planned. I can assure you everything is fine in that area. However, I'm a bit worried about pacing. So, in an effort to combat the plot from moving too fast, I have come up with a solution that I need your input on.
What are your guy's opinions on showing the viewpoints of new characters? No, not new squad members or super major characters. We have enough of those XD What I mean is, for example, helping set the stage by writing a bit with some of the antagonist characters and or maybe even interludes with any characters that you think would be interesting. Maybe I can show a bit of the daily life of Rear Admiral Celestia XD Maybe some flashbacks of other important characters and somehow draw relevance into the current plot line. Maybe we could see the little ringleader of the rebel operations in Ashes hmm? The possibilities are numerous. Let me know what your thoughts are and you are more than welcome to toss in suggestions :)

I just want to see Ale slowly get back his memory starting with when he looks at his armor and notice's the mark of being in Luna's service when he joined her guard. :D
I say have a chapter that shows Ale's nightnares.
3391682 Currently, there are no plans of him regaining his memories in such a way. It's very clichéd and I try to avoid clichés like the plague.

I think that a chapter (or more) from the point of view of Celestia or one of the antagonists would be a nice touch, it would add more details about what's going on.
I would like to see a bit more from Ale's perspective; his nightmares, what he thinks is happening, what he thinks of the squad and its leader now that he's spent more time with them. I also wouldn't mind seeing from Celestia's perspective for a bit. Maybe even from Nightmare's back in Equestria. Also, (just an idea) Luna trying to regain what she lost by telling Ale stories from their shared past.

3391913 nope. He has zero memory. He 'felt' something. That was all. If Ale came through that portal with all his memories intact, then he'd remember that his original objective was to find Luna and Celestia and bring them back before killing Nightmare. However, since his memories are magically suppressed, he thinks he's been in UNSC space the whole time. He has no idea about ponies, etc. Also, if you remembered, when he tried to remember back, his memories were very clouded to him. Nightmare pretty much pasted false yet cloudy memories.

help to show off the personality of some of the quieter ones. a chapter with them all being a bunch'a misfit friends would be great.
perhaps few horror stories of bad cooking, spectral revenge and the always scary ONI.
