My Sincerest Apoligies + Snippet · 7:49pm Aug 12th, 2015
My god time flies by, one second I'm promising that I'll have a story out next week and the next procrastination hits me with all the speed and subtlety of a bullet train on steroids. I really have to apoligise for that. Anyhow, I am now beginning work on the first chapter and to make up for the lateness, I am providing a snippet of the chapter, which you can find below. As for when I'll have it released, first I have to find a pre-reader, feel free to PM me about that if you want. Now, without further ado, the snippet.
It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping and there was a sense of anticipation in the air. Currently, there was only one pony out and about, a small, graceful pony, with a dull blue coat and matching mane. She wandered the town for a bit, taking in the various sights and sounds, smelling the light, refreshing air. Feeling the warm atmosphere of comfort, safety and a rustic charm. Eventually, she stopped, looking around for a certain pony, one who soon made herself evident by teleporting in front of our little observer. “So, how does it look? I’ve been working on it for ages and I think I’ve finally been able to nail it all down.” The lavender coated pony queried.
Gentle Touch was about to respond, when all of a sudden, a loud ringing noise shattered the world, as all of the houses, trees and plants all fragmented, as if made of glass. The peace was no more and the town flew away from the two ponies as they were forced out of trance and back into the waking world. Groaning from her new headache, Gentle managed to make out “It was perfect Friend, I could hardly tell I was in my mind at all, except for the lack of ponies.” Ending the sentence with a sigh of relief, Gentle was grateful for the wave of healing magic Twilight sent to her, soothing her muscles and stopping the pain.
It looks interesting and very promising, (to bad I am lacking in mine)
