The Penthouse - A short story · 7:31pm Apr 22nd, 2015
Hi, a quick story written on the Iphone, please, give me feedback in the comments.
It was a rainy, dull night as Twilight looked over the city, her dark and busy city, stood in front of her window in her luxurious penthouse. A lavish affair of purple leather and lavender walls, it was what you would expect of a business leader such as Twilight.
But while usually this scene might be of comfort to Twilight, the beauty and warmth of the room was disturbed by a familiar yet unwelcome presence, the grand Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria.
"Twilight, you've gone too far. My guards need those weapons and your attempts to withhold them will be dealt with harshly." Warned the solar monarch. Tilting her head slightly, Twilight's only response was silence. After all, Celestia had no true power here, in this bustling city ruled by money, where regulations had been stripped bare and true harmony was merely a rumour.
Instead, Twilight made a mental note to have the weaponry, merely some swords and war hammers, destroyed. Now that Celestia had her eye on them, the joy of seeing her rage-filled face, combined with more than a little bit spite, was worth far more than any profit made from the sale.
And so, Twilight merely waved Celestia away, severing the final thread of friendship and leaving only hate in it's place.
