Why I Don't Write Here Anymore

I suppose it's been on my mind for a long time, but it never really occurred to me until recently. And because a few of you have been waiting for some projects I promised I'd finished, you deserve to know, as well.

    This exists . . .

This is a thing that exists. This was made with effort, and money.

And Hasbro actually put their name on this.

    . . .

    . . .

    . . .

I'm gonna step away from this one.

My good friend needs some support

You all probably know HudsonHawk, especially if you know me. Even though I've never met the man in person, he's my best friend on this site, on the internet, and probably ever.

    Embarking on a new venture

Recently I discovered a site for content creators called Daisie. It allows people to post their work and ask for collaborators, and it was created by actress Maisie Williams, whom many of you might know as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

Question to you readers out there · 4:10am Aug 6th, 2015

What do you think of my writing style? What are some things you can pick out about me and the way I write? What do I do best? What do I need to improve on? Whatever comes to mind, go ahead and say it.

And don't worry about hurting my feelings. I'll take it, and even if I can't, I need to. I have to know.

Thanks for the help.

I like your writing style. I've really enjoyed Hoofenmouth's series, and the Steam Collection.
I'm not sure what to point out as faults.

I love your style of writing. The character development is good, and humor is well written, and the plots are fairly paced. Though the story of the main character would be better if their backstory is thoroughlly explained in a way that they can do best depending on their personality. You don't need to use this advice since I like your style the way it is. Overall its great.

i like your writing style because you take your time with how events unfold. And I LOVE it when you purposely slow the advancement, leaving us to read on and wonder what the fuck is going to happen. I love the way you leave us wondering. And the only thing I could nit-pick on is the word choice of the ponies, sometimes they sound to articulate, and sometimes the sound like they could be redneck dumb. Other than that your writing's pretty solid.

Your writing style can speak volumes if looked at in the right way, for example when you are writing a specific character that has some set style for them, I can tell from your writing that you bring out the best in the character to make them more appealing but you can also bring out the worst in a character but only to have the plot delve deeper and have the bad in the character change into something good and cause them to shine that much more.

I'd say you're like me last year.
Good: Tries to add variety with word choice, sentence structure, story developments
Bad: Sometimes goes too far with the aforementioned things. Too much is as bad as too little.
In general: More description, more characterization. That includes RD. I know you don't like her, but from the last time ice heard, your image of her is warped.

Keep on writing! :yay:

Just keep up the skirt fetishes and I'm happy.

You write shorter stories. Not a bad thing, not a good thing, just a neutral observation.
I think you like to have multiple things going on at once, even if you don't look at both at the same time. I find that I really like it.
You also, as I mentioned before, write what would be considered just shy of clop.
Your humor is pretty spot on. Not many writers can do it, and you do it well.

Improve?
I really hate to say this but I think you should try your hand at a clop fic. I understand if you don't do those but I think you'd be able to provide a well sized fic with snappy and perhaps even funny dialog.
Just something to consider, but I have to say your So Much Leg and All That Body stories are simply sublime.

I'm no critic, so I'm just going to be honest; I love your writing.

In a word, unique.
In 2 words, its great.
In 3 words, versatile and original.
In 5 words, you have my full support.
In 16 words, You have potential in writing fics of differing length and perspective with few errors in grammar.
Need I say more?
:pinkiehappy:

Well I wouldn't still be here if I didn't like it, am I right? It's funny, it's detailed, and it's just the right length. I'm a crap writer anyway but nontheless, keep up the great work!
