So i did a "culling" on my favorites...by basically going through everything and seeing what hasn't updated in a significant amount of time and then checking the user page of the author to determine whether they've left or not and also their blogs to see if they've posted anything about continuing or leaving.
It's really sad when someone decides or is forced by life to stop writing a story on here...but if you do, don't make a false promise of coming back months ago and then not make a blog post in months/years. I know people have their reasons but still...i'm down 20 something stories on my favorite list now...

So anyway I've made good progress on the next chapter For Their New Life in Equestria. I wrote 200 words in about three days...and i'm still not out of the first scene...fairly close but damn man come on brain be more concise i got things to fit in this chapter. This should be the chapter where i finally release a key fact about one of the new characters...a fact that one of my editors and me still but heads on but i'm doing it regardless
bonus points if you can guess which one...should be easy if you paid attention...and if my writing made the clue easy to read and decipher
I feel you on the just disappearing thing. I had a 6 month long break between chapters (though an re-edit for the story happened in the first 3 months), but at least I updated my little status thing I put on my page every week so people would know I was alive.
