Hello! Been quite a while since I wrote a blog entry... *checks date* 
Oh wow! Okay, very, VERY long time...
Wanted to update and say that while I have been working on Darkness Falls, I've only gotten a little bit done. In part because people who wanted to edit/pre-read for me seem to either no longer be interested in doing so, or they're far too busy. So that's a plus... *sarcasm*
Real world stuff (like work and college) prevent me from doing a whole lot of work on DF. Though I'm hoping to change that, maybe. Other stories are remaining on hiatus for the time being, but like I've said before I have no intention of abandoning Love & Tolerance or my other stories either. It's just gonna be a while, sadly...
Though, I may pick L&T back up when I'm in between chapters for Darkness Falls, however. Read somewhere that one method to prevent writer's block is to alternate stories, so I'll be trying that.
On another note, and something else that's been taking up my time, a nice little game called X-wing Miniatures. It's a table-top Star Wars game where you fly around miniatures of X-wings, TIE fighters, and other ships, dog-fighting other people. It's pretty fun to play.
On another note, I've kicked the Destiny addiction, and am officially done with that disaster of a game.

3270434 Yeah, though maybe somewhat soon I can get back on it. We'll just have to see how busy my school keeps me. And I'm glad that's the case, as I feel the same way. I'd rather wait longer for a good product than get it sooner and have it suck.
3271445 Yeah, I was. While I wasn't on the hype train, I didn't like several things about Destiny. The lack of story, the frustrating RNG loot system, the lack of real diversity. If you watch Angry Joe's review on Destiny, it sums up how I feel about the game. I did play it for quite a while, and I have three level 34 characters and very nearly all the exotics/raid gear and weapons from the game (I'm missing the Dregs Promise and the Praetorian Foil, and probably a few of the House of Wolves "Queen" weapons, but I don't care about those).
Destiny has its merits, but I don't think it's a good enough game to make any more commitment to, especially not financially. Crota's End and House of Wolves kinda... fell short of what my expectations were gonna be. CE had weak story too, and while the Raid was fun (if frustrating before level 34), it just didn't add a whole lot, and certainly not for its price. House of Wolves wasn't much better. Slightly better story, but I don't feel that Prison of Elders is a replacement for a 6-man fire-team raid. And lastly, with the main game and the current DLCs being a let-down for me, I won't be giving them $40 for The Taken King. Personally I think it's pretty audacious to ask for $40 when the others barely offered anything. Plus, I'm not happy at all with the comment that that developer made with the collector's edition.

3272475 Ah, well, it was basically a Bungie developer that was asked about the exclusive public options (like a new dance or some other) that would come with the collector's edition (The one that would have Crota's End, House of Wolves and The Taken King, along with the base game). Basically the Developer said that hardcore fans will "Throw money at the screen" for these emotes and stuff. Here's ReviewTechUSA's video on the subject. And basically when I heard this, I got pretty mad because I don't like to think about what Bungie has become. It sucks, really. Now I see why so many people, including Staten, quit.
And that's fine if you still like the game.
It does have some good merits about it, which is what made me come back at all.

Anyways, sorry about said confusion, I was talking about both stories. Darkness Falls is the current project that -- when I get a chance to seriously write -- will be what I focus my attention on. Love & Tolerance was included to help assure people that it is by no means a "dead" story.
It felt right to do because L&T is more popular than my other stories (though, just like L&T, they are not dead) and that tag was so others could see that. Also it's tagged L&T and nod DF because, officially as far as FImFic is concerned, it doesn't exist yet (meaning it isn't posted in any form. Right now for FimFic it exists as a title placeholder).
