Whooo boy! I don't even know where to start! 
Three days ago, I was preparing to surprise you all with a contest—the long due 50 fic likes contest I spoke about 70 years ago—and within that time, I've been given far more to celebrate!
First order of business for the day: There is finally a new 'WAWWA' chapter up after two weeks of fuckin' around. It's called 'Upon Deaf Ears'.
Ok, now that that's out of the way...
I'VE REACHED FIFTY FOLLOWERS! So, y'know what? This art contest (which I will get to in a bit) is now rededicated to that. Thanks so much for the love, the commentary, the advice, and the company, you guys. I really do appreciate it all! 
I'm not one to jump to conclusions about who I can justifiably call 'friend' (as was well demonstrated by my total meltdown about 'Amending Fences'), but I do hope that a few of you have grown to think of me as fondly as I think of you... despite my sometimes random and occasionally dour personality.
... Alright, enough mush.
I GOT A FUCKIN EQD FEATURE, BITCHEEEESS!! I saw it posted last night, and my first thought was: "Adagio's big tushy and Aria's nasty cigarette are plastered all on the front page of EQD. Excellent." I personally consider it a win for dark and shmexy pony fic fans and writers everywhere.
No, but seriously. Wow. I honestly am not very good with expressing my own genuine feelings sometimes (weird, right?), so I mean, yea. Wow and woot. Those two things are what I'm feeling at the moment.
Okay. CONTEST TIME.
I'll make this quick, because I want a nap because I was up late haphazardly illustrating and throwing some color on a thing. You'll see.
For the next 8 weeks or so, approximately, I will be holding a four-round contest in which you shall have the chance to win:
-An illustration of your choice, done by me, fully colored, shaded, etc. (according to what I'm capable of).
-Containing 1-2 characters (pony or human) of your choice. No mechas, y'all. I honestly have no idea.
-It can have a background, but it'll have to be small or simple... or small and simple. I'm still trying to pump up my BG illustration skills.
-No clop.
-I'm not good with coming up with stipulations on the fly. If you win, we'll hash out the details in the inbox, but yea, that's pretty much it. Now, for the catch. What is it that you must do in order to win this contests, you ask?READ MY FIC... You knew it was coming.
Allow me to explain.
Once, every two weeks or so, and always upon a weekend, and always with prior time warning so no one misses out, I will post an illustration, a quote, or a trivia question on my blog. In the case that I post an illustration, it will be that of one of the many, many OCs that appear in 'We Are What We Are'. The OC could potentially be anyone/anypony that has appeared and been established within the fic. So, don't think they will be coming straight from the new chapters I post or something.
Once this character is identified, you must jump into my inbox as fast as you can, and give me the character's name (FULL name if it has been revealed), and a quick, general blurb about who they are. The blurb can be pretty much whatever, because I enjoy being entertained.
Now, in the case that I post a quote or a trivia question, I will let you know at that time what specifically I'm looking for in an answer, whether it be: "Who says this line?" or "Which character is this line referring to?" or whatever. Once again, jump into my inbox with the answer as quickly as you can.
First correct answer in my inbox wins... I know... Pressure. BUT I will be doing four rounds of this contest. Idunno, does that make it better? I figured that somehow makes it better. Whatevz. Here's an example:

For all those who are currently reading 'WAWWA' it should be immediately clear that this is one of my most beloved OCs, Cookie (I know my shit kinda looks like Gorillaz. First off, I can't help it. Secondly, Gorillaz are rad, so shush). Recognizing this, if you are so inclined, be the first to jump into my inbox, and send in something like:
Cookie Dough (because her full name is revealed in the fic, I will not be accepting just 'Cookie').
She owns the instrument repair shop, and [insert some other general comment, lewd joke, whatever. Or not. Doesn't matter].Just let me know that you know who this character is and what they're generally about, and voila. You win. If it is a quote or trivia question, just be the first to answer it as I explain on the post itself, and voila. You win.
Oh, and for those wonderful, long-time readers I have whom I KNOW are ultra perceptive: If you think that the questions or OC pics are going to be as easy as this example, then think again. There are times when you might have to use context clues within the picture itself to figure out who it is you're looking at, which I happen to think makes it all the more interesting.

I'm gonna try doing more pics of Cookie later on. This one was literally last minute. She's not nearly as grungy here as she's supposed to be, and you can barely even see her birthmark. How unfun is that?
ha i knew it!!!...cookie wansn´t an old cranky woman...well im not saying that your drawing skills are bad or something,i just kinda have a different prespective of her,she looks like a really cool grandma lol,well great job with the story,i might not be that interested in the contest since my perception of the characters maaaayy differ a tiny,smitzy,withzy,cheezy,from yours....so it might not be the best idea,at least for me but any way i still will be waiting for the next chapter.some thing i really like to do is to print and make a book out of the text files since i am unable to read them in an electronic device besides my computer,so i can read it in the bus,school,bathroom,etc.
im holding myself from reading it until there are more chapters in order to make a big load of pages,so the last two episodes are still a mistery to me,have you ever consider to make a small apearence of other characters in the story?like discord?not saying to make them an important character,just a small cameo of them having a conversation or doing something.thats all for now...so good night,evening or whatever is the time when you notice this.

I imagine it is the same for everyone who is reading it. Still, I've left room in the fic for plenty of OC context clues, regardless of how the characters are portrayed.
Yes, I've considered the presence of other characters in this story before I even began writing it. I guess you'll just have to wait and see whether it actually happens or not.
I mean fimfiction's inbox. Hehe. If you look up at the top left of your screen on a laptop, there should be the fimfiction logo, followed by the "Browse" dropdown button, followed by something that looks like a little envelope. That envelope is your inbox.
