Wave Blaster: Year Two: Good Moments (Part two): The Electric Boogaloo · 3:03am Jul 11th, 2015

Aaaaaaand we're back to revisit my two years worth of work as a fanfiction writer. This time however, we're getting more selective as this time we bring up my two top gunners; The Conversion Bureau: Judgement Day and Stay, plus my "One-Seat One-Shots" that I wrote in between. With no more ado, or even more shameless self-promotion, here they are:

- Regardless of your views on the genre, you have to admit that Celestia effectively managing to keep things running smoothly after the aponylypse has its own merit.
- On the other side, the higher powers of other universes teaming up to set things right, even the villainous ones.
- All of the god's introductions, not out of place in a Mortal Kombat game. Highlights include Zeus provoking a storm to summon Odin, Unicron's transformation sequence and the Spectre literally carrying darkness with him.
- "I'm here to judge you Princess Celestia of Equestria."
- Despite of being in a state of self-doubt for years, Celestia still has enough fight on her to stand up in front of gods, some of which outclass her in every sense of the word. That mare is not going down without a fight.
- Darkside's BADASS! boast: "We are many things, little one. [...] Most of them you could never dream of understand. But in the grand scheme of things, we are gods."
- To put a cherry on the top of the last one, after hearing it, Celestia understands and admits she's afraid. Darkseid is, indeed.
- Ten guys who could probably blow up the solar system with a gesture are discussing without any signs of stopping. Enters the Spectre, who only says "silence" without even raising his voice and the place gets quieter than a graveyard.
- Shazam managing to buy Celestia some time and even convincing the Spectre of protecting her against unfair harm, just because that's the right thing to do. Wisdom of Solomon is in full effect here.
- Celestia after learning that the Spectre is capable of landing some of the Old Testament brand of justice on her ponies: "I will not let him do that. [..] I will fight the heavens and hell if necessary but he will not touch them. [...] If I have to die and resurrect for all eternity only to receive the punishment meant for them, so be it. But he won’t. Touch. My. Family."
- Celestia vs The Trials of SHAZAM!
- About to fight a limitless horde of all kinds of creatures, only to protect a small town in the middle of nowhere.
- 'And I have had it with the fear!'
- Taking Atlas job, and not showing a single bit of regret when left alon in the dark as long as she did the right thing.
- Five words; Team-up with the Flash.
- Celestia angry, Vol. II: Celestia turned her head, looking at him in the eye. Slowly advancing, leaving a trace of molten rock and fire behind her, she stopped merely centimeters from him. Her whole body language screamed aggression, anger. Hate. [...] [Shazam] never faced that amount of hate directed at him, and by the powers above, he hoped to never face it again.
- The meta one: Wave's first encounter with a huge fanbase and managing to keep it mostly interested, even despite his brand style of writing at a glacier's speed.

- Celestia teams up with Sgt. Rock and The Combat-Happy Joes of the Easy Company. Let that one sink in for a moment.
- Informally speaking, but Celestia is so far the first and only female member of the Easy Company.
- She's up there with Superman, Batman, G.I. Robot, Swamp Thing, Rick Flag and the original Suicide Squad.
- An out of camera one, but the Easy Company saving Celestia, despite knowing nothing about her.
- The Combat-Happy Joes are surrounded by an advancing squadron of Nazis, pretty much loosing against them. Celestia one hit KO's the aforementioned Nazis by dropping and avalanche on them.
- How did Frank Rock die? As human shield for an innocent girl and taking the last bullet fired in the last battle on the last day. The man was literally the end of World War Two.

- The changelings are this close to get extinct. Enters James, and they are back on full health in months.
- James is confronted to being reduced to an "and I must scream" state. His inner emotions? Pure willpower and a little of greed, but no fear.
- Queen Chrysalis, crippled and emotionally unstable, is still willing to give up everything for her people ponies bugs kin.
- Monarch taking her mother's position and managing to turn "The Hive" into "The Citadel"
- "...[the changelings] were always apart from the world. [...] Now they were part of the world too."
- How good is Monarch at her job? She spots every spy in the room as if it was nothing and outright scares the hell out of them.
- The meta ones: Wave second breakout that convokes such a response that he decides to write the sequel above his other projects.
- One for Giz for coming up with the prime concept.
- The Rage Review with 00% of Rage.
- Entering The GoodFic Bin's archives.
- Able to rival TCB: JD with only two chapters.
- Probably one of Wave best works overall.

- The Sketchbook, all of it. A constant succession of one CMOA after another.
- Wave's favorite one: Trixie piloting the Great Mazinger and curb-stomping everything on eyesight (heroes and villains) like it's nobody's business.
- Galvatron effectively no-selling Luna and Celestia's attacks, followed by him one-hit-KOing them.
- During the fall of Cloudsdale, Lightning Dust saved a little filly by outrunning a laser shot. Sonic Lightning-Boom?
- “The heck we will!” said the Crystal Empires at Count Broken's telling them to surrender.
- "The Elements of Harmony released their power. A power beyond measure." And thus the ponies survived the Last Night of Equestria.

- The description points out a war that just ended, hinting that this is an stealth sequel for Ponies and Robots Wars, which means that the ponies won the war against Unicron's forces.
- Another out of camera one, but Trixie mentions a fight against the Ankoku Daishogun, the Big Bad of the Mazinger series, and they won that one too.
- Rainbow Dash, the non-contemplative pony of the group, pulls an spectacular and absurdly simple Batman Gambit on Granny Smith to force Applejack and Rarity into aid Rainbow in her fight against Trixie.
- The soundtrack, courtesy of Animetal and JAM Project.
- Both, the Getter G and the Great Mazinger's presentations.
- The escalation of hotblood and over-the-topness during the second chapter.
- Rainbow Dash and Trixie have a Ham to Ham combat.
- Trixie's heroic second wind after being tossed from hundreds of meters in the air and being hit by a full force Getter Beam.
- "You really though that a mere nuclear inferno would be enough against the Great Mazinger? [...] I am the Great and Powerful Trixie and I will stand FOREVER!"
- AWESOME! by analysis: Trixie using the Great Mazinger's Great Typhoon to boost the Great Boomerang and surprise the Getter Dragon from behind.
- Thunder Break vs Shine Spark.

And that's it for now. Next comes one of my darkest moments and turning point that was Show MUST Go On!

See you later.
