It's been awhile since y'all have heard anything from me. About six months, I reckon? I figure the least I can do is make a blogpost to let everyone know that I'm still here. Still here and still working. Progress on Outlaw has slowed down considerably and I apologize for that. Quite a lot has happened to take me away from the computer since the last update. My mother had neck surgery and couldn't get around without help, there was this whole fiasco involving someone I loaned my car to wrecking it by crashing it into a wall, I went to EFNW last month, met my bae and spoke on a panel with some other sidestory authors (and look who I commissioned while I was there!), and just last weekend I was pulled over in the parking lot at work for driving on a suspended registration. This one was completely out of my power, as the car is registered to my mother and the tags on the plates were 2016, so it was valid to my knowledge. Now I have to waste my good driver's record freebie to get the ticket thrown out. >.>
I wish I could say all the things going on in real life have been the cause of the delay, but even so, there really is no excuse for my sloppy work ethic. Truth be told, it's mostly been down to a paralyzing fear of how the next chapter will be received by both new and old readers. It's rather brief and so shouldn't have taken long at all to write, and yet here I am half a year later with a chapter that's only 3/4 of the way completed. Paranoia about how upset people will be when they found out they waited so long for a short chapter has also played a part in the delay. I aim to push through that in the coming week. Despite all of the goings-on, I haven't given up yet.
Keep an eye out, everyone. After all this waiting that new chapter's finally going to be here soon.

How long were you waiting to use that title? I'm guessing that is the true main reason for delays. Totally worth it tho'
