I have a tendency to post a lot of random, pointless blogs. I've tried to cut back on it, but I've failed.
Some people like this sort of thing, but other people are annoyed by it.
So, I've come up with a compromise of sorts: I can continue posting whatever random things that I feel like (and probably more frequently than I am now), but I'll tag those blogs at the beginning with [random] so that people who don't like the blogs can avoid them more easily..
Sound good to you guys?
Fair enough
Good Idea, actually, mind if I make use of it as well?
I wasn't bothered in the first place.
Quick question, did you get your laptop fixed?
3197540 Of course not. Go right ahead.
3197544 Somewhat.
On the surface your idea may seem like a reasonable compromise but, really, why bother? No matter what you do there's going to be those who love whatever you post while there will continue to be those who will hate your posts no matter what compromise you make.
Please do take it from someone who's been around for a while; don't compromise yourself. Always be true to yourself. Why spend your time walking on eggshells for the sake of those who don't like your stuff, anyway?
I get my fair share of downvotes and disapproval for what I write. That's fine. In my case there will always be those who disapprove, sometimes strongly, of anything that doesn't rigidly and precisely adhere to Canon. There are those, too, who don't like HiE stories, or sadfic or stories that touch too close to reality. That's their choice and I'm fine with that. Still, as the old saying goes, you can't please all of the people all of the time. More than that, to try to make everyone happy only ends up with everyone being unhappy, or baffled, or disappointed, or confused so just be true to yourself. Those who read your stuff will continue to read it. Those who don't, wont.
cool i don't mind but i wanted to ask if me and you are cool now if you don't mind me asking
Why should you care? It's your blog, anyway.
there fun to read anyways
