It's weird but my favorite is Mazinkaiser, especially the movie they made.

Are you sure? Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) is a rather popular one. I don't like a lot of the stuff that comes from the fanbase, but I enjoyed the show to a good extent. Perhaps you should watch it if you haven't. It's rather profound.

Mine is actually one called Kino's Journey. Another would be Natsume Yujinchou (or some spelling variation of Yujinchou). Both are absolutely beautiful and draw out so many emotions in me.
