Thanks Everyone! · 4:50pm Jun 22nd, 2015
It took forever for 'The Fall of Spike the Dragon' to reach 100 likes, but it was almost instantaneous for 'The Diary of Spike the Dragon' to do the same. I'm not complaining. 100 likes is absolutely wonderful! Thank you all for liking my story! I hope my future work will satisfy you as much as this series is so far.
Then again, a lot of people thought this story was dead... which it was for some time to be truthful. I was gonna abandon it and went as far as to cancel it, but I revived it. But I believe pressing that 'cancel' button was a big no-no.
I'm so glad to be writing this for you guys. I'm glad I didn't give up and I'm very glad that you guys decided to stay with me even as I was gonna give up. I really, really appreciate it. I had gone through... a very, very insane moment in my life and you guys stuck with me. I don't know where I would be if if weren't for you all. Once again, thanks a bunch. I owe you all so much. I feel so lucky to have you reading my stories and actually liking them.
Thanks so much everyone!

No problem, Sonic! I for one am always happy to support the efforts of kind, talented people. I enjoy and read your stories because they're good stories. Besides, I know exactly what having a rough spot on the road is like. Not the exact same type of rough spot, but a dark time nonetheless. The last thing you need in that situation is your supporters all vanishing.
As for the slow down in story traffic between entries, I credit that to something I've named Sequel Decay. When someone decides to continue a series, its only real audience are those who read and enjoyed the first one. Very few people will read a story before reading the ones before it. As for the people who already were there to like and favorite the first one, I'm sure that read later box of yours is evidence enough to say that people don't always finish what they start. I, however, am a dedicated lurker around these parts. When something catches my eye, it becomes difficult to lose it. Even if I have over 600 episodes to go through before hitting the half way point (I'm looking at you, One Piece. How do you have so many episodes?!)
Congratulations hitting the 100 likes mark! I look forward to the next update.
