A little over 3 months ago, I came up with an idea. I wanted to make my own Discord/Luna and Celestia origin story very loosely based on a story i really like. This is how I met my editor and he liked the concept so I decided to actually make it into a story.
I used 2 months planning, a lot of rewrites on sorting the plot, and made the first 2 chapters. I must admit I was very excited and nervous about finally publishing that story.
Imagine my disappointment and confusion when it was met with mostly dislikes and no reason given by the dislikers as to why they disliked it.
So started my quest for finding out why people didn't like my story. I checked the chapters multiple times, checking for mindbogglingly big errors I was pretty sure didn't exist. And surely enough, I found none.
Then I checked my pronounciation and if my characters were actually in character. I found no complaint.
And then I started to check my descriptions to see if they were the ones that wasn't interesting enough. This turned out to not be the case either.
Lastly I started asking a few people if there was something wrong with the story. The few people I asked could find no reason whatsoever as to why people disliked the story or even why people didn't bother checking it out.
I have tried "fixing" this story any way I could and have come up with no results, which has been frustrating to say the least.
I'm not whining mind you, I'm just simply confused.
I'm here to ask you guys for your opinions as to why people don't like my story. For I really have tried everything and your thoughts on the matter would be very appreciated.
well looking it you have more likes then dislikes........maybe those dislike come from people who dont like Celestia x discord you could always put in more groups to get more veiws

Last time I read it I found a couple of grammar errors, but none that could put me off. They were just a bit distracting.
I think the dislikes come from people who don't like gore, or people who can't stand the idea of Dislestia existing. I kinda, except kinda don't get where the hate comes from.
