Whatever I expected for the 100th episode... · 9:27pm Jun 13th, 2015
It was spectacular. Contained everything I could have hoped for.
It is literally packed full of references and nods to the fan base and it's nice to see our favourite characters getting some much needed screen time and a slight fleshing out. Also, I quite enjoyed the slight irony (or not but whatever) of the mane six being reduced to background pony status for this episode, like a role reversal kind of thing. [1]
For some people head-canons died. But, my favourites are all still kicking strong. Nothing in this episode has truly broken them and I have a feeling we'll see a few more crop up with the new material we have at hoof.
In conclusion...
(and I mean that in the most sincere way possible)
Next up is the 1,000th episode!
Get hyped. I predict it will broadcast in 12D and have ten times as many muffins. [2] 
[1] Although Spike wasn't excluded which may or may not hint that he normally counts as a background pony. Poor spike...
[2] I may or may not have something muffin related planned for Interactive Ponies.
Too bad Applejack didn't make it inside before the doors locked. That would have been hilarious.
