Soul Searching, Soul Sister, and Soul Soldier

Hey... it's been a while, hasn't it? Not sure how much right I have to come back here after everything I've done, but this site just kinda popped back into my mind, and I came to the realization (too little too late, in a few senses of the phrase) that I left a lot of people here with a pretty bad taste in their mouths. I... don't really have anything to remedy that, I'm afraid. I just wanted to

    The New Episode...

I read the description of the next episode of MLP, and I could help but think of this...

That is to say, Starlight Glimmer just started playing Xenoblade Chronicles X.

    ...

Top Five Reasons My Life As I Once Knew it is Over

Just so you know, this isn't going to be a sad, whiny, "first-world problems" blog. I'm just explaining how I'm now a far cry away from a high school student doing nothing but writing fanfiction in his free time. Anyway, on with the list...

The Third-Stupidest Idea I've Had This Summer

So I've been playing and watching a lot of Metroid content lately, and my most recent endeavor was watching a playthrough of AM2R. (And bear in mind, I never actually played Metroid II myself...) Then, as I watched the final sequence where The Baby follows Samus off of SR-388, I thought about something: a fanfiction written from The Baby's

Metroid Other M: The Worst $22 I've Ever Spent (A Rather Long "Short Story", then a Review)

So, I finished Metroid Prime Trilogy a few weeks ago, and like an idiot, I didn't play a good Metroid game next. (I had my pick of the litter, too. Super, Fusion, Zero Mission, II... hell, I should have just replayed the Metroid stage of Kirby's Dreamland 3!) It started while I was at the flea market just a couple days after beating Corruption. I was armed with about $50 and looking for a new

It's over... It's finally over... · 10:47pm Jun 4th, 2015

My most intense and difficult final exam (English) was taken today, non-coincidentally the last day of my Junior year in high school. And now that this exam, as well as the whole year, is behind me, it's... an odd feeling. To spoil Xenoblade for some people... as Melia would say, "I'll never get used to this feeling."
That exam, strangely enough, was taken first thing in the morning, and I was exempt from my afternoon exam, so I spent most of the remainder of the day listening to sad music from Xenoblade Chronicles 3D like what's playing right now. (You did play the video before starting to read this, right? I'm not sure if people do that...)
But yeah, I was playing this song as the bus was leaving the school for the last time in a while. And strangely enough, as the chorus was playing, (specifically "My heart is with to you... forever... and ever."), I happened to see that guy who I told you some time back had a crush on me. Strange, huh?
And now to address the question on everyone's mind: Yes, I have beaten Xenoblade Chronicles. It was a couple weeks ago, actually, but I wasn't able to get online to tell you about it. Sorry.
But back to school. Of course, all the seniors are gone. Unfortunately, I'd made several friends who were seniors, and while I have some of their Friend Codes on Nintendo Network, I may never see them in person again. It's saddening, true, but at least I can bear the knowledge that I've made an impact on their lives as they've impacted mine. (Literally. There was this one friend who was excellent at hitting me with Jigglypuff's Rest in Smash Bros.)
*a green Nopon bounces in*
"Why Lan Lan look so sad?"
Oh yeah, I should introduce you to my followers. This little Nopon is my Xenoblade OC, who I've named Josese. I came up with him just the other day, actually. He's no Heropon, but he'll fight for his friends if need be.
"Yes! Josese just like Ike! But Lan Lan avoid Josese's question. Why Lan Lan sad?"
Well, I just finished my last day of school for this year, and it was more emotional than normal. Just now I was talking about all the friends I lost.
"Why Lan Lan sad about that? True, Lan Lan lose friends, but Lan Lan still have many here. Josese know Lan Lan will see friends again, and make new ones, too!"
You're... right, Josese. I can't dwell on who I've lost. If the past were to be dwelt on, then we'd miss the future. All I can do is look forward, beyond the sky, and see what awaits me beyond the horizon.
"Yay! Lan Lan smiley happy! That make Josese smiley happy, too!"
Yeah... I do feel a little better. Thanks, Josese.
"No problem! Now Josese leave. Josese late for meeting with Kyle and Carousel." *Josese salutes before turning and waddling off*
Oh yeah, Kyle and Carousel are two more of my random OCs. Kyle's a duck who also works as a police officer in a world called Duckland, and Carousel is my FNaF OC. She's modeled after a Clydesdale and was part of the ride she gets her name from before she... went haywire and then rogue. But that's enough about my OCs. (You might see enough of them in the future...)
Anyway, with school done, I plan to redouble my writing efforts.
*Minecraft comes in and punches me in the face* "NOPE!" *runs off*
*rubbing my chin* Ow...
Well, despite that, I'll still have more time to write than I had during school, so Minecraft can't take that from me.
Alright, this blog has gotten way off topic. The point is that school's over, but it was a more emotional exit than normal. Still, I'm glad it's done and over with. Now I can keep going towards the future, however uncertain it may be.
Until the next time we're destined to meet, goodbye.
