Only a Few Days to Go!

First of all, if you haven't seen Stripped, a documentary about the history of the newspaper comics industry, it's out now on Netflix, and you should definitely see it. I did a little write-up of my thoughts over on my other blog which draw some similarities between the modern world that Stripped presents and the current state of the publishing industry, so well worth looking at.

Just wanted to get that out of the way. Great documentary. Totally worth watching.

Anyway, it is now Tuesday, which means we are three days away from The Big Day. Yikes. I'd better wrap this up so I can get back to editing! But first, in the grand tradition of letting little things leak out, if you aren't familiar with City of Doors, an MLP review/reading/opinion site, now would be the time to start checking them out. Rumor has it that they may have gotten a sneak peek at the first few chapters of Beyond the Borderlands which they'll discuss sometime in the next few days. I still have no idea how they find the time to read through everything (my favorite theory is that they're a government worker lost in the machine somewhere, collecting a paycheck for reasons even they are unsure of), but they do a lot of MLP-related reading.

Now, I'm off back to work. I have a lot more editing to do, and I also need to finish up the story summary today, hopefully so that it can be revealed tomorrow. But until then, if you want to debate back and forth on what's going to happen, there's always the Speculation Thread for Beyond the Borderlands.
