Two quick things. Okay three. Four max.
A: Yes, I'm alive. Sorry for the radio silence. New AWS service launches and all that. It's the damnedest thing, when you write for a living, the last thing you want to do when you get home in the evening is write.
2) New chapter of PTS25 soon! Like actually for-realsies soon. I hope you'll read it when it comes out. I imagine most of the comments will be along the lines of

Rumor has it that Games Workshop is killing off a few races from their Warhammer Fantasy line, including my favorite race, the Lizardmen. If this is true, it is sad. Also, I'll do a one off where the Lizardmen come to Equestria in their Mesoamerican-esque temple spaceships.
Super bonus thing the 4th!
Bloodlord is a cool guy, and doesn't afraid of anything. Met him over the weekend and I got the oportunity to show him the sights and sounds and smells and tastes of Seattle. We've got grand plans for our stories. The trick? Getting life out of the way long enough to write it all down.
Mystery #5-
How goes season 5? My wife and I cut cable last month, and I've missed out on every new episode since Twilight was pancakes. I'll catch up with streams and YouTubes and digital purchases, but I'd love to get your opinion on the show this year. Are you enjoying this season? Was the hiatus to end all hiatuseseses (hiati?) worth it?

Such is the curse of having a family to care for, my friend.
It definitely feels like they're trying to recapture the magic of season 2, and for the most part they're succeeding. I'm mostly excited for the 100th episode, where the background ponies will finally get a chance to shine, which is something I've wanted for so long now it's not even funny.
Seattle was a blast. Definitely going to have to do it again.
You have to watch episode 7 for this season because Celestia.
