I am in love with your story. I would agree that that he is definitely NOT ready for any intimate relationships.

1. He has to be comfortable in his own skin
2. Learning to make friends and keep friends is the first baby step
3. Liking himself and that's part of the problem.

This story was very life like. I know what it's like to have a crush on someone when you aren't ready for romance.

What I love about his character is he's incredibly powerful but incredibly emotionally vulnerable and needy. He's a jerk but one can empathize.
