but I realized that I may as well share it here just for those interested. Whether I'll start writing here again remains to be seen (I'm not going to force myself to write something I'm not currently interested in), but I've finally started taking a hammer to that wall that keeps me from working on creative pursuits in my life.

I've been having serious troubles getting myself to just sit down and write the next chapter. I've had it planned out since the day after chapter 3 was uploaded, but I haven't been able to get myself to start writing it yet.
I told some people I'd do it yesterday and I didn't, so I'm sorry.
And I told a couple people I'd do it today. I'm still hoping to, but I'm no longer sure if it'll be ready today.
I'll just say that things are about to get REALLY interesting, especially once we reach chapter 5 (or 6).

3078946 Well I don't. I've been bored, sitting here with nothing to do for days, and I have like another 7 days with nothing to do.
And even when those 7 days are up, the only thing I'm getting added to be able to do is my ONE friend IRL that I hang out with sometimes will be back home from a trip.
I do nothing all day but sit here on my bed with my laptop, bored.
If I spent all my spare time writing I could have hundreds of thousands of words uploaded by now, maybe even a million.

Well, I wish it was a matter of 'just do it', but this is art, and you can't 'just do' art. It's a product of creativity, so I have to be in the mood to do it or else it'll be crud :/
3078978 Actually, the motto of my local writing group is "yay crap!" Because sometimes you just need to sit there and spew horribly worthless things out your keyboard before the good stuff starts to flow.

Technically it's not writer's block; I have the whole chapter planned out scene by scene.

(Not saying I can't write sub-par things, I'm not egotistical) but I CANNOT make myself write if it's crap.
I just can't. I'm a perfectionist. I've tried, I can't get myself to do it because I'm too freaked out about having things perfect.

3079249 Yes, yes I do, especially since I love socializing but I don't have a way to really do so other than skype. And no one talks to me on skype (except like, one person. Sometimes. And that guy can be way too serious usually).

Relax man. You're chugging out chapters faster than most writers do around here already. Even at that pace you're making amazing chapters.
A lot of the time just going outside for a nice short stroll does wonders when you just mentally arent feeling it. Ive done it a lot. Sometimes you just go numb in the head when you've been sitting inside all day. Physical activity does wonders to relax the mental.
Since I've just finished all my finals I'm now free to do things, like talking, so if you're up for it we can be buds on Skype!

Actually, ever since I started writing I've been going for walks a lot more often XD
Sitting down at the park really helps me think clearer to get my ideas for the next chapter straight!
And about my update speed; my one friend irl said my update speed on caged inside of once a day was 'inhuman' XD
