So...I began posting The Discordian's Daughter in December 2012, with Part One being completed in August 2013.
Then, on December 21st 2013 the TV show introduced the Mane-iac.
Remind you of any character from my story?
Next, on September 27, 2014 this appears in Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks
She looks a lot like a humanized version of a certain OC, does she not?
And then yesterday, May 16th, 2015, we have Tree Hugger.
She's a hippie-esque character who is friends with Fluttershy. Hmmm...
Well, in all seriousness, this is probably a case of great minds thinking alike. But still, I find it a little surreal.

Funny I was thinking of your story when I first saw the latest episode. Treehugger really reminded me of your chrarcter Willow especially with lackadaisical approach to things. Goes to show how much I enjoyed your story. Maybe a possible silly short story tie in is in order?
