    Jed On: Stories Taken Down/P2P

Short version. I've taken down several of my stories: I believe the phrase is "pull to publish", as I'm going to strip them down and work them back up as original novels, short stories and more.

    Final (?) Update

    Hi all.

So it’s obviously been a while since I wrote something on here, or indeed updated anything. I’ve been busy for a while, and I haven’t had much motivation to come back to this site for a while. There are a lot of reasons for that, but most of them aren’t really my business to disclose entirely.

    Jed On: Brief writing update

    Hey all.

Short version: I’ve wasted enough people’s time with long talks about my mental state by now.

Haven’t managed to write much of anything since last blog post. Not for this place, not original work, nothing. It’s frustrating, but I’ve had to deal with writer’s block pretty much on and off for the last ten years so... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jed On: Current Events and History

There’s a lot of awful things happening in the world right now, so I’ve had to really think about the best way to approach it. It sort of hit home when an author whose work I actually liked turned out to be… well, other people know better than I do so I’ll leave it at that.

Jed On: AOA is 1 year old. · 2:50pm May 15th, 2015

This time last year, The Avatar of Albion had just gone up. Back then, of course, it was a vaguely derivative story with no clear direction, and it didn't look like it was going to go anywhere. Now, of course, it's not only finished (and 330,000 words long, if the bloody thing would ever accept my edits to the word count!), but it's spawned eight other stories. I mean seriously. Dayum.

So - in honour of AOA's 1-year anniversary, I thought I'd share a couple of plans for the story itself. Firstly, it's still being re-edited (slowly). Any changes or additions I make won't be massively heralded, but they'll be there. Also, I'm at least partially certain that there will be some new chapters thrown into the mix, but I'll warn you ahead of time for those.

There's also one final epilogue in the works - sshh! You get to see that soon-ish ;-)

Take care all, and happy one year birthday to my crazy little multiverse-spanning war story. :-)

Jed.
