Note Sketch

Note here, not much to say other than I love to write. My dyslexia is a huge obstacle when it comes to that, but I still enjoy sharing my stories, especially about King Sombra, my favorite villain!

    New End

So we all know I took forever and a half to update Sweetie's Shadow. Believe you me, I wanted to update the story for a long long time, but I couldn't get the chapter how I wanted. Finally, after basically finishing the update, I sort of rushed the last part and it's very noticeable.

    Been a While Hasn't It?

So it's been a minute since my last blog. My last update hasn't exactly been recent either huh? I suppose I've only myself to blame there. I should have guessed that getting a promotion would include a huge amount of extra responsibilities along with it. (Yay for my second promotion!) Still, I can't help but feel like I've all but abandoned FimFiction.

    Little Update

Okay, so ya'll know that I've been updating a little less rapidly than I originally planned. That does not mean I've given up on the fic by any means, but it does hint that things will be rather slow. Which in it of itself isn't bad, yet I feel the need that I should probably clear up a few things.

    Luna's powers

With Episode 13 out for a while now, I've had some time to process it and what it meant for Luna. Many people will bring up how self righteous and even ignorant it was of her to allow the Tantibus to run rampant, but putting all that aside, I'd like to discuss something I've noticed over the course of 3 seasons. Luna's Dream Walking abilities.

Not Dead, Just So Yall Know

Alright, so you might have noticed I haven't been very active lately. I'm not going to make any excuses. I just haven't gotten around to writing. Something or another always gets in the way of me sitting down long periods of time to write out and review what I have.

Small Update · 3:15am May 12th, 2015

The next chapter to Sweetie's Shadow is coming along nicely, so we should be getting an update soon. The biggest reason that it is taking so long was because I had to get everything ready for Chains of Tartarus, the fic I published recently. I had to get the story line completely ironed out and get the chain of events that I wanted to be present. I admit it was nice to finally get it out, but I am having some trouble with tags...as usual.

I can, however, say that the tags it is under at the moment to be accurate, the questions is that how accurate the the tags will reflect the fic at certain parts of the stry.

Chains of Tartarus will be a Romantic tale between Sombra and Celestia as the devilish side of war slowly sets in around them. Things sort of go to *ahem* Tartarus over the course of the fic, fitting the dark tag very well. However, it is also tagged as a comedy. It will have some funny events and moments early on as everypony gets accustomed to to Sombra as part of the team. However, this won't last the entire fic. There might be a comedic banter or gag in the later chapters, but mostly as comic relief from the tension of the fic. It certainly won't be the focus of the story as it will be for the first few chapters.

Think that I should untag it as a comedy? Or simply leave a note in the description that comedy will only be center stage early in the fic and will die down over time? Likewise, since comedy will be first, for a long while the dark tag won't really be very noticeable in the fic. I left a note in Sweetie's Shadow to let the readers know about the shift in rhythm, but is that really fair to those looking for certain tag centered stories?

What are your thoughts? What would you do in my place?

I would keep the comedy tag, because, for a while at least, comedy does play a strong theme.
