It's so strange to have something with an obvious literal name not named that. I mean seriously, how are they not lightning bugs? About the only exceptions to this rule is when they pull something out of the D&D monster sourcebooks. Timberwolves, fruitbats, quarray eels, and probably some I'm forgetting.
