Season 5 and Other Great Expectations · 8:15pm Apr 2nd, 2015
So, as I'm sure you all know, season 5 will be starting soon. I'm excited to see what they bring to the table this time around; I'm sure it'll be as awesome just as before. What does this mean for Man of War though? Not all that much actually.
Man of War was canon up until Season 3, as that was the season I started writing with. But now it follows its own canonization. Just like season 4, what happens there may not necessarily happen here. I'll be sure to watch and pick and choose what does and doesn't happen within the story.
A general idea of what won't crossover to the story would be things like:
Any further transformations.
New changes to currently listed towns (Ponyville, Canterlot, Ect.).
New Alicorn characters.
New Species (Like Deer).
Here's a list of things that will most likely be added to the story:
New towns and villages.
Any form of lore or myth.
Creatures and beasts.
Certain abilities or spells (depends on what it does and who does it).
Now, with these in mind, I am still open to what may happen. I doubt they'll have anything on the level of someone getting married or dying. But if they have Rainbow Dash perform a new stunt that basically says she can do something otherwise impossible, then I'll probably give it to her. It all depends on what happens and how.
