Hey there, guys. Not much I can say, except that we're the bearer of sad news on this day. Now, I'm aware that a good number of you are already knew this -- the ones that follow Horse News probably do, anyway -- but we here at F2P finally decided to pick up the slack and pay our due respects to a young man who lost his life last year. Why do we care? Well, he was a horseword writer, for one.

We're aware that we might be just a biiiiiiit late to the punch on this, but... better late than never. Those other articles were late by like, seven months, so a couple more after that isn't really all that much by comparison. Besides, we think it's pretty important that lessons be learned and messages be taken from this tragic occurrence, so that it might hopefully not repeat itself. (Wishful thinking? Yes. But it's better than doing nothing at all.)
Meanwhile on Fimfic, everyone else seems busy throwing fits over Feature Box tweaks and LoHAV ban shenanigans (and some of these groups have started acting a little wonky, too), but, that'll be an article for another day. It's strange how some folks get around this time of year. Never really understood that, to be honest. Must be a full moon.

Thanks for writing the article and treating the topic seriously. Looking at some of the comments on the Horse News link at the end, it's disheartening to see people going out of their way to be malicious.
