And so it comes to a close

Hello everybody, and welcome to the blog where I finally announce the end of Blossoming Roses. Bad news, at this current time I have posted a chapter, and the next is indeed going to be the final chapter. But the good news is that the next chapter is going to be a long one with multiple scenes.

It has been a long journey, and I'm honestly surprised I came this far. I nearly quit writing the story after I first posted it because of the daunting task I had ahead of me. I'm not sure what exactly motivated me to continue several months later, but I'm glad I did. I remember what it felt like to develop these characters and learn their emotions and motivations and weaknesses and anxieties all rolled up into one. With the help of my amazing editor Vivid Syntax, I've actually improved more as a writer than I ever thought I would. I'm very VERY proud of some of the scenes I managed to write and the emotional impact I've given my readers and myself alone with these characters emotions. I didn't think I would make it as far as I have, but I'm glad I did.

You as readers have actually helped me a lot, positive feedback is something I adore and being able to happily say that most of the time reception is better than I could have hoped for my silly little paring. I'm not sure what I plan to do next, to be honest. I have the threads of a sequel in the back of my mind as well as my other stories that I've been neglecting in favor of writing daddy issues. These characters have grown important to me and I can safely say I am just as connected to them as I have become to CaraMac.

I hope you're excited for the final chapter. It's been a hell of a journey.
