I'm really tired of it... · 4:43pm Mar 30th, 2015
Ok, so in my last attempt to get my chapters out faster, I have reminded my proof-reader that I'm expecting them that I wanted something. If they don't get back to me before tomorrow? Then I give my chapter one last look myself and then they will be uploaded. No matter the quality, although the quality of my chapters has significantly improved.
Its better to wait for the editor/proofreader to go through it than to post it as quick as possible. Just get started on the next chapter. But, that's just my opinion.

You may want to look for an alternative proofreader or editor; in any case, you have to remember that the vast majority of us who edit and proofread do so for free, and do have lives/priorities.
I personally have my regular editor/proofer and a couple of back-ups in case something happens to the first one. Talk to your proofreader, see if maybe something is happening in his life that is holding the proofing up, and if there is, maybe look for an alternative to help pick up proofing while he gets stuff sorted out.
On a less professional/personal level, I find this post offensive and am glad that I'm not your proofreader, because I'd probably tell you to find a replacement if I were.
Dude. Treat your editor/proofreader with respect, because they're doing you a kindness by helping you not look like an ass.
If their speed bothers you that much? Find out why, and try to work around them. Or find someone else. But do not complain about free help giv-
Hang on, wasn't there an episode on just this subject in the show? Shouldn't we all have learned not to look a gift horse in the mouth?
2925323 I know, I do come out like a douche. But when someone tells you they'll have a look and nothing happens until you remind them once again? Twice? Then you loose some faith. I've been looking for quite a few proof-reader and nearly none have satisfied me. So, I kinda loose my temper. But I will now instead try and edit it all myself and try it like that. Giving my pre-/proof-readers some slack.
