Feedback - The Blog

Hey there everypony! RQK here.

I'm going to write a series of blogs for this fic I am writing. In the original version of this blog I stated that I would go on a chapter by chapter basis, but now I realized that would cause some problems! Therefore, I'll write when applicable.

I'll start off by talking about the overall fic itself. This story has been in the works since Christmas of last year. Admittedly I had hoped to have it up much earlier, but you only get so much time in the world. I've had dozens of ideas for fics before but there are plenty of other things outside of Friendship is Magic that I've wanted to write too. That I have written. I also came to the conclusion that if I was going to write only one thing for Friendship is Magic, I could only accept my best ideas.

And, naturally, I didn't have that best idea until the very end of last year. Well, that's not entirely true. I had something like this in mind for a long while, but only a few months ago did it manage to take a form.

The original idea was Spike and the Mane Six sans Twilight, just like here. However I would never have dreamed Sunset Shimmer would be involved in any way, much less as one of the three main characters (heck, she looks to be the protagonist here). Safe to say Rainbow Rocks changed all of that! It's providence anyways because the story in its current form would not have worked without her.

I am really excited to bring this story to all of you. I hope you enjoy all the twists and turns that we'll encounter throughout. And above all, have a blast with it. I know I am!
