Tomorrow - Under a Tree Chapter 3 · 3:36am Mar 29th, 2015
Good evening everyone. Under a Tree has been finished. I'll be posting the new chapter tomorrow (Sunday) and republishing the original, which I have never deleted.
It's interesting to see how much work it takes to rework a story with not only a different tense, but also (for one chapter) a different perspective. Chapter 3 got completely rewritten. I have not left a single word standing atop-- er. Well, it was completely rewritten, but still tells the same ending, albeit with more reason for it, and more Applejack and Fluttershy.
I think this works better than the original, too. The ending scene of the original was always the weakest part, I thought.
Anywho, I hope you all enjoy it when it comes up tomorrow.
Along the way, I'd like to thank TD and Bradel for giving me the initial impetus for the rewrite, everyone who enjoyed the original and (hopefully) still likes the new version.
I would also like to thank my editor Minds Eye and prereader Zomg for offering their thoughts and helping me polish it up.
I'm glad it has shaped up so well - it is a lot better, and you should feel proud of all the work you did on it.
