OH COME ON, And other Musings

So I just watched "Every Little Thing she Does". I'm always super-late on watching episodes. It was okay. Apparently Twalot does teach the Glimglam conventional magic. Who'da thunk it, eh? There goes the subplot I wrote. Oy vey. Well, at this point I'm throwing my hands up in the air and saying "fuck it", I'm not going to do some canonical gymnastics to make DHD line up

BE PREPARED FOR CHANGES IN THE STORY

Nothing personal to blab about this time, just giving out some teasers to Chapter 8 of DHD as proof I'm not sitting around procrastinating all of the time, anyway.

From up on the skyship, Flash had imagined he forest floor to be as thick and leafy as the canopy, but in fact it was a veritable garden of well-groomed alien plants, lit only by the sparse rays of sunlight that managed to penetrate the jungle’s shroud. Wide-leafed ferns, sprouting seedlings, grasses as soft as silk, and nameless flowers in all colors of the rainbow and then some lined the winding wide paths in between buildings. All the while, the constant choir of a lively forest rung in their ears with its unending euphony made up of the buzzing of oversized insects, the chirping of crickets and birds, and the gurgle of brooks snaking their way through the jungle. If one were to crane their neck to look straight up, the would notice the majority of the spires disappearing as soon as they passed the canopy, like pillars that supported the inside of a castle.

Ready for a jungle boogie?
