Yes, my blog has been pretty quiet lately. Mostly because I've been doing about 5-6 thousand words per day, on average, on "Beyond the Borderlands." At that speed, it's going to be done soon, but it's also not giving me time to do much else.
But there's a little more than that, too. I've been working on my free time for the last few weeks building up an independent, official site for myself! Huzzah!
Okay, nobody panic, I'm not abandoning FimFic. The truth of the matter is that I've needed a legit site for a while now. Something I could put on my business cards, something I could point people at that wasn't MLP related, etc, etc. I think you can see the reasoning there.
My point is, I won't be abandoning either my fics or my posts over here. Being a Better Writer will continue to go up here each Monday, but now it will also go up on my new site on Tuesday, as well as a repost of one of the archived guides on Friday.
Now, I'm not going to put the link for this new site up just yet. I'm still working on it behind the scenes, making sure everything is working and functioning the way I want it to. Basic it may be, but I want it to at least look nice and have a nice variety of material and features when it goes up. But I figured I'd let you guys know it was coming. Once the site is up, it'll be the all-in-one place, while my FimFic profile here will stay mainly pony related.
Anyway, just a heads up on what's coming. Enjoy the weekend!
