    Personal life disruption

Hey, everyone. I felt I owed you all an explanation for why it's now two weeks past the last scheduled update for Primrose War.

So, I've had a bit of a personal upheaval. I'm moving forward with building a house, not immediately, but there's been a lot of talking with friends and family about what it'll mean going forward. So that's one thing.

    Unexpected Hiatus

Hello everyone. I wanted to apologize for the lengthy, unexpected hiatus of The Primrose War. It was definitely unplanned, and this time I haven't been writing. Work, leading up to the holidays, has been more stressful than usual with the rush to get things done before I take my two week end-of-year vacation.

    Next chapter delayed

Hello everyone! I apologize, but the next chapter of Primrose War will be delayed by a bit. Between work and a few novel releases that I've been looking forward to, I haven't made as much progress as I wanted to on the next chapter. I do have a solid outline, though, for the rest of the book as well as part of the next, so I haven't been idle.

There is Another Sky - Minor update · 2:38am Mar 19th, 2015

So... because I wasn't terribly happy with how quickly the ending rushed through things, coming to what was a deus ex machina, I have decided, instead, to replace it with a different ending.

If you're interested in reading the ending alone, search for the following sentence:

“I know what you say is right. Now. But not forever.”

It will take you right to the part that changed.

If you want to get to the beginning of the ending:

Shelly’s voice preceded her hand on Celestia’s neck.

It is, in the end, about another 800 words long. It is not necessarily replacing the ending with a better one, but a different one that is less of a rushed ending.

If you were really, really attached to the original ending, let me know and I can... I dunno, stuff it in a blog or something.

Toodles!

Rewrite everything! :pinkiecrazy:

This is how I deal with stress. I fix things. Or try to.

(and I'm keeping the last two digits of my blogs even with my followers) Because reasons.

I wouldn't have said it was necessary, but it doesn't dilute things, so I guess it works. The new scene with Shelly and Will might drag things out a bit, but you did expand on one thing that I felt was a little unclear (and now I can't remember what it was despite having just reread it, so just take your "good job!" and be done with it! :V)
