It’s been more than a few minutes, hasn’t it?

Hello, everyone. It’s been awhile. I hope you’re doing well.
I don’t have much more to say than this: I’ve got a new story coming soon, one fitting for the Halloween season. As such, I promise the prologue and first chapter no later than the 31st, and I hope to have a second chapter out by then as well.
Thank you for reading, and may your autumn be excellent!

Looking for a few proofreaders for A Deeper Change

Hello everyone! As you can probably tell from the title, I've decided to continue my little tale of Twilight's fall into the embrace of Queen Chrysalis, and all the conflict, subversion, and revelation that must surely follow. I've actually been working on and off on the next chapter for several months now, but just recently I've been having trouble. I feel like I'm dragging out my world building

    Regarding "A Deeper Change"

First off, I'd like to thank everyone who's enjoyed my little Twisalis tale. I originally just wrote it as an entry for the Hypnotic Pairing Contest, and while I was proud of it, I didn't expect the response that I got. It was my first featured story, and I got a lot of excellent feedback, both praising and critical,

    Progress Report

So, after a great deal of busyness, more procrastinating, and a WHOLE FRIGGIN' LOT of exposition, I have finally reached the part in my next chapter of Hypnotic Hijinks wherein the actual hypnosis is gonna happen. As I've taken so long on this one since announcing it, I'm promising two things. One, and perhaps this one already went without saying, but I swear to do my absolute best to make the

Regarding "A Deeper Change" · 8:55am Mar 8th, 2015

First off, I'd like to thank everyone who's enjoyed my little Twisalis tale. I originally just wrote it as an entry for the Hypnotic Pairing Contest, and while I was proud of it, I didn't expect the response that I got. It was my first featured story, and I got a lot of excellent feedback, both praising and critical, which I very much appreciate.
I'd never intended for this story to go beyond what I've posted so far. Even the clop was meant mainly as an exercise to stretch my boundaries. It wasn't until I saw all the comments that hoped, asked about, or flatly expected more to come that I realized the potential in what I had created. The moment that happened, I had what I can only describe as something of a Pandora's Box moment.
My imagination, traitorously free spirit that it is, has been in overdrive since then, and I've come up with several elements and scenes that would work well in the continuation, should I choose to write it, and since I tend not to rest easy with such ideas until I've written them down, I probably will. That said, if I do, it would be a very slow process. For one, I'm busy; I work two jobs and have a business on the side, so needless to say I don't have a lot of free time. Second, and more importantly, I don't really know where I want the story to go. Even from what's been written, I don't know what the next step is. There are so many different directions to go in, and I just don't know which to pick, especially since none that I've thus far come up with are true to the characters as I want to portray them. I think I know how I'd want it to end, but how to get there, without inexplicably changing the characters or having some kind of contrived deus ex machina? I have no clue, and nearly everything that would lie between that final chapter and where I am now is one enormous grey blur.
I want to write it, but the scale of doing it justice kinda scares me.
What are your thoughts? Have any of you who've read it found yourselves in a similar dilemma, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any ideas for things that you'd like to see in the story? I might not use them, but given how much lies between what is and what would be, there's a lot that needs to happen, and I'd be willing to at least consider any idea you can offer.
Once again, thank you all for your thoughts, criticism, likes, etc, and thank you for making "A Deeper Change" my most popular story to date. Consider me much obliged.

I've gotten my self stuck in this situation before, and its why I tend to stick to smaller stories, or If I even dare think about tackling a bigger project, I try to make a outline so I have a solid direction.

In my own opinion, I don't see this story as a dead end situation, specially if you at least have some idea for a ending, but It's probably going to take a lot of planning to pull off, which can really eat up your time even if your working with a trusted partner. If you do plan on continuing this, I wish you the best of luck, and shall read eagerly on. But if you drop this to avoid making a inferior product, or simply avoid the time sink, anyone who would begrudge you doesn't have much of a leg to stand on.

I would love to see you explore this story more! And to be honest, I feel the way you're describing when it comes to any and all stories I write-- which is why I haven't uploaded any.. lol.

I'd say, just based on this story and the level of your writing within it, you're more than ready to embark on a larger project. If you're in need of a proofreader or anything of the sort feel free to let me know!

2859167 I second this guy's opinion. Also a good way to get past those pesky little blocks is to find smeone that can be a good sounding board for your Idea's It doesn't necessarily have to be me, but it always helps to find someone that can help define and expand upon your Idea's.

I say continue it; I'm up for a nice 'the villain wins' story.
